Where Now?

To help understand how the PTX.App can help you it has been split in to five categories.

Beta site

The PTX Lab is a BETA site where we showcase new ideas, technology, WebApps and functions. If you want to leave feedback or see any issues with the site, we would appreciate if you couple spend a couple of minutes reporting them using the Contact Us button above. Thanks from the PTX Dev Team :)

PTX.WebApps

Our WebApps are single web pages used to carry out complex processes and calculations, for example a Transfer Calculation or Benefit Modeller. WebApps may interact with the PTX.App via APIs multiple times and WebApps often include additional functionality like integrated charts, tables graphs and PDF production to improve the user experience.
We have developed various interactive examples to bring WebApps to life. Use the links below to visit the page.

PTX.APP Microservices

Microservices are small but powerful pension specific calculations that can be used in larger complex calculations, they are also known as ‘Serverless Functions’ or ‘Functions As a Service’. Websites, WebApps, mobile apps and other online services use microservices to perform calculations using the PTX.App.
We have built various microservices to provide online support for administration, actuarial and data calculations.

Each microservice can be accessed over the web using a API request which returns the results as a json formatted file, alternatively our PTX.WebPlugin can be used to help with this. All our online services are secured and optimised using Microsoft’s Azure cloud.

Below is a list of some of our online interactive microservices, we have an ambitious development programme to release more each week.

Pensions Dashboard

The Pensions Dashboard Programme (PDP) will enable individuals to access their pensions information securely and all in one place. The PDP is currently working with the industry to understand user and data requirements. We have analysed the work that has already been completed and have produced some useful online tools to help with technical understanding.

Pensions Dashboard Data Elements Lookup

The Pensions Dashboard Programme group has produced a list of Data Elements and attributes. We have analysed this and developed a PDP Data Element Lookup microservice to help understand these further.
